Between September 22–25, 2025, the first working meeting of the TRAI project consortium took place in Timișoara, bringing together researchers from Switzerland, Bulgaria, and Romania. Participants discussed the project’s theoretical and methodological framework, with sessions focusing on large language models, ethical and assessment challenges, and epistemic development frameworks.

During the meeting, the partners established interview protocols and AI literacy questionnaires, analyzed existing corpora, and discussed linguistic indicators for assessing critical thinking. The consortium also defined the next steps for the project, including pilot interviews, the configuration of digital research tools, and dissemination activities through international conferences.
